When you take a Traineeship you need to know that you are in safe hands, with a good training provider. Our team at Pathway Group will help guide you through all stages of your Traineeship and work with your employer to make sure that you receive the skills, training and work experience that you need to get the most out of your Traineeship.

Just like other employees, Apprentices earn a wage so you need to have finance to pay them. Apprentices earn a minimum of £2.73/hour (however, many companies offer more to make sure they attract a high calibre of candidate).

You also need to make sure that your staff are ready and prepared to take on an Apprentice because Apprentices normally need to work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills.

But there is no need to worry! Pathway Group will guide you through the ENTIRE process.

All training costs are met by Government funding.
There’s no requirement for employers to pay you as a trainees but they are encouraged to support trainees with expenses such as transport and meals but obviously this is at the discretion of the employer.

At the end of a Traineeship you will have the skills and experience to successfully gain an Apprenticeship. There may be an option for you to progress onto an Apprenticeship with the company that you have done your traineeship with or we will find interviews with other Apprenticeship employers.
